The Workshop
People want lower bills—not solar panels. They want control, confidence, and simplicity—not complexity, paperwork, and risk. So why aren’t more people saying yes to clean energy?
In this interactive session, Tom Day of Essex County Council, will share how they applied behavioural insights to unlock large-scale adoption. And Adam Parvez of iChoosr, will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how real-life behaviour barriers are identified using tools like the Influence Framework and the MAP model (Motivation, Ability, Prompt).
The session then centers around a live Q&A and audience-led reflection in which city leaders can ask Tom Day and his colleague Oliver Burrough of Dacorum Borough Council about their experiences and lessons learned with behaviour designed group-buy programs which you can take back to your city.
