Solar and Battery Storage

Our program allows municipalities to offer the power of group purchasing to their residents.  In Japan, the UK, the US, and Belgium, we work closely with municipal and regional governments to support their local energy priorities of resilience, scaling the uptake of solar with battery storage. 

Our program includes solar and battery education, expert support, and results in a quality solar and battery installation, at a competitive price. Residents benefit by producing their own energy, and reducing their need to purchase energy from the electricity grid. If adding a battery, residents also enjoy the benefit of storing their energy for later use – all while reducing their carbon footprint.  

Heat Pumps

Through our heat pump programs, we’re aiming to deploy heat pumps at scale for residents, to help meet future energy and climate goals. In our ongoing efforts to accelerate the transition to renewable energy, we recognize the critical role of electrifying residential heating systems. Heat pumps are emerging as a cornerstone technology in this shift, offering efficient, low-emission heating solutions across different climates. As we see record summer temperatures, residents can get heating and cooling from switching to heat pumps.

Heat pumps can be up to three times more efficient than traditional furnaces, helping homeowners significantly reduce their emissions and/or utility bills. iChoosr has to-date offered heat pump programs in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Miyagi Prefecture is working to further popularize solar power generation with the aim of achieving net zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050. This group purchasing project is an initiative to provide residents of the prefecture with an opportunity to consider installing solar power generation equipment and the opportunity to purchase equipment at a good price.
